Our Journey so far:
In 2012, a budding group of Chiang Mai parents and teachers, namely Andres Matos, Carl Hebbs; Rafa Corale, and latterly Dean Beadeurx – the founder members of RSFA – wanted to provide their children with a safe space where their children could nurture a love of the game; hone their soccer skills, and form life-long friendships. Out of this simple, but powerful notion, Rising Stars was born.
Since its humble beginnings, Rising Stars has now grown into a pillar of the Chiang Mai community, with links to the City’s most reputable International Schools, including Prem, Lanna, CDSC and Varee.
We play host to several teams (girls and boys) ranging from U6 through to U14, coached by an enviable roster of experienced and qualified professionals.
Our Vision:
Rising Stars is a family orientated, child-centred academy that includes girls and boys from all corners of the globe. We aim to instil a lifelong love of football through fun/game-based activities.
Front and centre of our philosophy is a belief that all children have the right to enjoy the beautiful game, and all the benefits it has to offer, regardless of gender, nationality, ability or age. Whether your child is new to the game or vastly experienced, they will find a home here at RSFA.
Principally, we focus on technical skills and game awareness; however, in equal measure, we look to develop the social skills of your child. We aim to instil and foster positive values, including teamwork, determination and respect for oneself and others.
We believe such qualities are best summed up in the mantra – Play football, join the world!
